Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about WeKidz — from enrolment to everyday routines.
Getting Started & Enrolment
Start by booking a tour so you can meet our educators and see our centre in person. After your visit, we'll guide you through the enrolment process step by step. You can book a tour or make an enquiry through our Contact page or by calling us on 1300 724 388.
Fees & Subsidies
Our fees vary by room and the number of days your child attends. We're happy to provide a detailed fee schedule when you contact us or visit for a tour. All fees are inclusive of nutritious meals, nappies, and wipes — there are no hidden extras.
Safety & Wellbeing
Safety is our first priority. Our centre has secure entry access, CCTV monitoring, and all educators hold current first aid and CPR qualifications. We maintain strict child-to-educator ratios (1:4 for babies, 1:5 for toddlers, 1:10 for preschool) and follow comprehensive health, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
Our Educators & Approach
Our team includes qualified Early Childhood Teachers (bachelor degree), Diploma-qualified educators, and Certificate III-qualified educators. All staff hold Working With Children Checks, first aid certifications, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Daily Life & Communication
Each day includes a balance of indoor and outdoor play, structured learning activities, meal times, rest, and free exploration — all guided by our educators. The routine varies by age group but is designed to be predictable and comforting while allowing plenty of room for curiosity and discovery.
Location & Practical Info
We're located in a beautifully restored heritage church in the heart of Glebe, Sydney. The centre is a short walk from Glebe Point Road with underground parking available and accessible by bus.
Education & Philosophy
The difference is intention. Early learning means every routine, every environment, and every interaction has been deliberately designed to support your child's development — not simply to keep them safe while you are at work. At WeKidz, our programs are built on research-informed practice and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which means your child's confidence, curiosity, and sense of self are being actively nurtured throughout the day. It is the difference between a child who is managed and a child who is genuinely growing, and that distinction shapes everything about how we build our rooms, our relationships, and our days.
Family Partnership & Transparency
It means your child has consistent, familiar educators who become a genuine secure base — someone they can return to when they feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or simply need reassurance. In practice at WeKidz, it means the same faces greet your child at drop-off every morning. The same educator notices when something feels off. The same person is building on yesterday's conversation with your child today. We do not rotate staff arbitrarily, and we do not rely on casual educators. Your child's emotional security is not left to chance — it is deliberately designed into how we structure every room and every relationship.
